Danish champion stallion with outstanding progeny Zardin Firfod, another Gribaldi son in Mühlen, passes on all of his positive qualities to his offspring! A beautiful stallion with a magnificent build and a dynamic action, Zardin Firford was champion stallion at the Danish licensing in Herning in 2001. He has won classes up to Intermediaire I and competed up to Grand Prix. Five of his offspring are approved stallions, including Reserve Champion High Zociety Firfod, who received a 10.0 for character in his 30 day test, along with 9.5 for temperament, willingness and attitude and 9.0 for rideability and conformation. His approved son High Clazz Firfod, champion stallion at his licensing in 2006, received a 9.5 for character and a 9.0 for temperament at his 30 day test. He is now successfully competing in intermediate dressage classes. Zardin Firfod's foals have always been prize winners. In 2003 his stallion foal Sazardi was "Best in Show" at the Danish Foal Show in Ikast, in 2004 Hub of Univerze Firfod was the best Danish Warmblood foal of the year, in 2001 and 2002 75 percent of all Zardin Firfod foals won prizes for their quality. His sire, Gribaldi, will be eternally famous for producing three-times World Champion Totilas and he has sired a whole string of Grand Prix horses. Gribaldi's offspring include Girasol/Nadine Capellmann, Sisther de Jeu/Edward Gal, Painted Black and many others. In 2010, Trakehner champion stallion Imhotep by Gribaldi was sold for EUR 300,000. His dam, Zawanne, produced another approved stallion, Zalmiak Firfod, and she was sired by successful Grand Prix Trakehner Schwadroneur. The dam line goes back to the Hanoverian Fastenheldin line via Wöhler, state stallion at stud in Celle. Zardin Firfod has inherited Gribaldi's looks and passes on his excellent movement qualities to his offspring. |
