Vivant van de Heffink

In our search for the extraordinary, Zuchthof Klatte finally found what it was looking for. We are proud to be able to offer our breeders Vivant, the fifth best jumper stallion in the world (according to the 2010 WBSFH Ranking). This Belgian stallion, who is more than half Thoroughbred, has been highly successful in international sport for many years under his Australian rider, Chris Chugg. In 2010 they took fourth place in the World Cup Final in Geneva, 19th place at the World Equestrian Games and also won championships, e.g. the Munich Indoors. The couple is not only well-known for their fast rides in jump-offs but also for their double pirouettes ridden with one hand.
His sire, Fuego du Prelet by Jalisco B, is an Almé grandson. Jalisco is is the sire of the 1990 World Champion, Quito de Baussy, and the magnificent line founding stallion, Quidam de Revel, as well as the highly profiled sire, Paillon Rouge. The dam's sire, Landino by Landgraf, comes from the same family that produced Carprilli. Hedjaz, found in the third generation, another French trademark stallion, is also the dam's sire of Otterongo who took the Vice European Champion title and fourth place in the Olympic Games in Athens under Ludo Philippaerts (BEL) as well as McLain Ward's Sapphire (USA) – one of the best mares in international show jumping for years. Vivant – Off to a new era!
