Vagabond de la Pomme has champion blood through and through. Not only is he the son of the Champion of the World, Arsouilles Vigo, but he also stems from solid bloodlines on the sire and dam side.  In 2010, his sire Vigo d'Arsouilles won gold at the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky (under his regular rider Philippe Lejeune) and made a significant contribution to help the team win a bronze medal. Since 2008 Vigo d'Arsouilles has been a regular on the Belgian showjumping team placing high in various Grand Prixs and Nations Cups, as well as, was crowned Belgium's Horse of the Year in 2008 and 2010. He was also declared BWP Ambassador in 2011.

His dam sire, For Pleasure (1986-2011), was a winning feature of the German National Team for years and has become a legend in the sport. With Lars Nieberg he won the German Championships in Gera in 1995. In 1996, he was part of the Gold Medal Team at the Olympics in Athens and in 1997 he won a Gold Medal with the team at the European Championships in Mannheim. In 1999, he again won the European Team Championships and in 2000 Team Gold at the Olympics and fourth place in the individuals. In 2002, For Pleasure became German Champion in Mannheim and in 2003 Team Gold Medallist at the European Championships in Donaueschingen. All together For Pleasure won 75 advanced level competitions which included many Grand Prix, World Cups and Nation Cups. His descendants are currently dominating and impressing in the international show jumping circuit. By age 19 For Pleasure had won more than 1,8 million euros and in 2000 he was the first privately owned stallion awarded the title ´Hanoverian Stallion of the Year'. Grand dam Qerly Chin has quickly become a showjumping dynasty and widely-recognized as perhaps the best mare in all of Belgium. She is the dam to several internationally competitive progeny and her offspring having already amassed over 1.3 million euros in winnings.
