The Dutch KWPN Stud Book is presently the number one in the WBSFH (World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses) Ranking. And what do you need to make more progress in breeding? The best of the best! Now ten years old, Uptown was a Dutch Champion Stallion and, just like his sire Kennedy, he won the Pavo Cup, the Dutch equivalent of the Bundeschampionat. He also successfully competed in competitions for stallions, winning the "Future Stallion" title in Zwolle and took fifth place in the World Championships for young dressage horses when he was five. His grandsire Ferro took fifth place individually at the Olympic Games in Sydney as well as second place in a World Cup Final. Just like the World Champion Totilas, Uptown has a highly interesting pedigree based on an Oldenburg dam line which was enhanced by Holstein accents. Through his French dam's sire, Ubis, he also carries the bloodline of Inschallah's sire, Israel x, and of Furioso II's sire, Furioso xx. Uptown's movements can only be described as spectacular and he consistently passes them on to his offspring. Two sons have been licensed that are successful in sport in the Netherlands.
