Grand Cru (Archived)

Grand Cru

Grand Cru carries the hopes of the State Stud to continue the valuable Hanoverian G-line. The overall positive breeding evaluations are a clear justification of that hope. Grand Cru is bred out of a very consolidated dam line: his dam Athene is also the dam of the Dressage World Cup Champion 1998 Walk on Top. Grand Cru is hard to surpass with regards to character, presence and demeanor. He possesses rhythmic, cadenced movements. He is know for siring strikingly good looking individuals of impressive class. Grand Cru passes on to his offspring strong dressage tendencies. His daughter Gina won the broodmare performance class at the Louis Wiegels Show in 1999.
