Charilan (Archived)

VIDEO
A most noble looking jumper with an awesome talent for jumping - that's our Charilan. His first show jumping tests have been most encouraging. From his exciting first crop a number of Charilan's youngsters were sent to the various auctions. At his 30-day test that he took in 2007 in Neutstadt/Dosse he received an "A+" (9.5) with high scores for his willingness to perform, character, temperament, constitution and canter. His Holsteiner sire, Calido I, who has long enjoyed the reputation of a trademark stallion, received the highest score in the jumping index at his stallion performance test in 1994. In 1996 he won 22 tests for young show jumpers and participated in the Bundeschampionat. Highlights among his more than 30 licensed sons are the Bundeschampion Coster and the double German Champion, Coupe de Coeur. A Calido daughter named Nobless M/Pius Schwizer/SUI took team bronze at the Olympic Games in Hong Kong. The dam's sire Landfriese II made his debut as an Oldenburg premium stallion in 1992 and won ribbons at the Bundeschampionat in classes for show jumpers twice. Charilan's granddam Weltgirl also produced another licensed stallion named Sacramento Boy (by Sandro). This dam line is also known for the advanced (S**) level show jumper, Life is Life (by Landjonker).
