Santo Domingo is an exceptionally congenial dressage stallion who is equipped with impressionable charm and charisma. This stallion is clearly predestined for the grand arena. Whether walking, trotting or cantering, he is mechanically perfect with a consistent sequence of movements. At the end of 2014 he finished his 30-day test in Schlieckau with above-average results (guest rider: 9.25) and proved his high sporthorse quality (e.g. guest rider score of 9.25) with ease.
In 2015, Santo Domingo made his sport debut with victories and high placings in the test for young riding horses. He became riding horse champion of Saxony-Thuringia in Burgstädt and placed third at the Southern German Championship in Nördlingen. With his first crop in 2015, Santo Domingo produced numerous premium awarded foals in different breeding areas. At the German foal championship in Lienen his offspring placed first and fourth and were also the price highlights at the auction in Nördlingen (23,000 euros) and Vechta (48,000 euros).
From a young age his sire, San Amour I, has been a constant producer of offspring for auctions, shows and championships. Several Bundeschampions and 37 licensed stallions are sired by San Amour. Fürst Heinrich, his dam sire, was the winning stallion in his 30-day test in 2001, Champion Stallion of the four-year old premium stallions on the occasion of the Oldenburg licensing 2002, as well as, celebrated World Champion of five-year old dressage horses 2003 in Verden.
