Quidam's Rubin has reinforced an early assessment: at his 30 day test in Prussendorf in 2002, he was the best in jumping with a score of 9.32 and received a score of 10.0 five times. In 2003 he presented an excellent first crop that brought the highest prices at auctions and became the undisputed Oldenburg Main Premium Stallion (jumping) among a group of strong competitors. In 2004 he won his 70 day test in Neustadt/Dosse with superior results (146.65), by far the best in jumping (145.88) and with an excellent 3rd place in dressage as well (128.25). In 2005, five of his sons from his first crop were licensed, including premium stallions at the approvals in Vechta and Münster-Handorf, where our Quidamo (see pages 46/47) was also awarded the title "Best Jumper Stallion" – a debut that couldn't be better! Like pearls on a string, every generation in the pedigree of this exceptional young stallion has a top jumper of French or Holstein performance breeding origin! The sire, Quidam de Revel, was a successful championship horse in France and Denmark. His highly esteemed genes are now being spread by his sons all over the world. The dam, Helvecia, belongs to line 144 and connects Landgraf I, Caletto I and Farnese, three of Holstein's most famous performance makers, in her pedigree. |
