The picture-perfect young stallion attracted attention at the Oldenburg Stallion Days 2019. Equipped with outstanding basic gaits, finest mechanics and a lot of elasticity, he impressed right from day one. His charisma and high basic quality delighted both the expert audience and the jury. He was selected by the licensing commission as the "1d premium stallion". Due to his remarkable hereditary performance and his own sporting successes, he was named main premium stallion (1c) by the Oldenburg Verband in 2021.

In 2020, Moreno won directly at his first competition. He won the riding horse test in Höven with a final score of 8.8. He received a dream score of 9.0 for trot and canter as well as for training and conformation.

Shortly thereafter, he was named Vice State Champion at the Oldenburg Championships and nominated for the Bundeschampionat.

At the Bundeschampionat he ranked 4th in the qualification and 5th in the Grand Final with a score of 8.7. Under the saddle of Veronika Steinhof, he received a score of 9.0 for walk, 8.0 for trot, 8.5 for canter, 8.5 for training and 9.5 for his particularly good conformation, making him the best three-year-old Oldenburg stallion at the 2020 Bundeschampionat. Just a few days later, he entered the 14-day test and finished successfully with a final dressage score of 8.58.

Moreno OLD is ranked by the FN as the best Oldenburg stallion in the ninth place of the winning 3-year-old horses 2020. In the rimondo Ranking 2020 he is placed fifth.

In 2021 and 2022, Moreno successfully completed his sport tests in Münster-Handorf. This year, under Madita Rentz, Moreno has already won and placed highly several times in elementary class dressage tests for young horses and qualified for the Bundeschampionat.

Breeding Director Dr. Wolfgang Schulze-Schleppinghoff: "This Morricone I son impressed us especially with his striking mechanics, he trots very nicely from the knee. This stallion is very balanced in the quality of his basic gaits. Walk, trot and canter could inspire us equally. A real powerhouse, ideally suited for dressage."

Gerd Sosath is very pleased that he was able to acquire the premium stallion: "I watched this picture-perfect youngster for three days and fell in love with him. He was always clear in his head and super in all three gaits. I was immediately sure that he would fit in well at our stallion station and with the mares of our breeders. When I was able to buy him at the auction, I was happy and relieved. Many breeders came up to me directly and congratulated me."

Sire Morricone was champion stallion at the Oldenburg licensing in 2014. In 2016, he was the outstanding dressage winner of his 30-day test with a final score of 9.33. In total, he received the maximum score of 10 four times. Due to his own performance and his hereditary power, he was awarded the main premium winner. Morricone is meanwhile victorious in Grand Prix. His offspring impress with excellent basic gaits, strong nerves and presence. His first crops already excelled at foal shows and various licensing venues throughout Germany.

Dam's sire San Amour was 2nd Reserve Champion at the Oldenburg licensing in 2006 and top of the stallion market. In 2008 he was awarded the main premium and finished his stallion performance test as dressage winner. In 2009 he placed in the Bundeschampionat finals. San Amour's offspring are increasingly making a name for themselves on the international stage. Among the most successful offspring are West Side Story (Estelle Wettstein, SUI, World Championships Tryon 2018), Sinclair Jason (Christian Schumach, AUT), Sun Of May Life (Regina Isachkina, RUS) and Sandro d'Amour (Olga Safronova, BLR), all of whom have victories and placings up to Grand Prix. Saphira Royal and Stefanie Wolf won bronze at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in 2016 and placed in front at the Bundeschampionats every year from 2012 to 2015. Soiree d'Amour OLD won the Bundeschampionat under Kira Wulferding, placed at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in 2014, was a participant in the Burg Pokal Final and is now a Grand Prix winner. Full sister Soiree de Saumur OLD won bronze at the Bundeschampionat in 2013. Other offspring of San Amour who have been successful at championships include the dressage horse Vice World Champion Samoura M and the Vice Bundeschampion Stern von Afrika OLD. Ann-Kathrin Lindner won team gold at the European U25 Championships with Sunfire and is successful at Grand Prix level.
He has 50 licensed stallions to his credit, including champion and premium stallions as well as numerous premium mares such as the Oldenburg champion mare Calamity Jane.

Moreno's dam line has produced numerous S-successful horses. These include Salieri (Victoria Max-Theurer, AUT), Di Lapponia (Paulinda Friberg, SWE), Figari (Jan-Dirk Gießelmann, lntermediaire), Rien ne va plus (Christina Dahl), Beyonce (Ann-Cathrin Rieg), Fasching (Georg Etienne), Real Diamond (Ann-Kathrin Wilting), Faviola (Nadine Husenbeth), Scherz (Paul Schmid), Paulus P (Thomas Miesner) and Solitaire (Rena Fraikin).
The licensed and successful stallions Dr. Doolittle (Markus Gribbe, Grand Prix), St. Emilion, who has 28 Grand Prix victories at 3* and 4* level, as well as Bonard de Charry (Yvonne Reiser, lntermediaire I victorious) also go back to the dam line of the young stallion.
