A Show Jumper Stallion in International Sport A magnetic stallion of special quality for breeding and sport without any doubt. Lord Weingard was awarded a premium at the 2003 Oldenburg licensing in Vechta. He took his 30-day test at the same venue in 2004, finishing among the top group with an excellent overall result (8.29) and an especially outstanding score in jumping (8.63). In 2005 he had high placings in tests for young show jumpers and in 2006 he participated in the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf in the class for German show jumpers. He has meanwhile reached upper level international show jumping and in 2010 he was highly successful with Jan Sprehe in international three-star advanced (S) level competitions (e.g. in Offenburg, Saint Lô/FRA, Neumünster, Zuidlaren/NL and Gera). In breeding, Lord Weingard made headlines: His son Lord Beckham was the Champion Stallion of the Mecklenburg licensing in Redefin in 2010. His eldest offspring have already won tests for young show jumpers in novice (A), elementary (L) and medium (M) level. The sire Lordanos also won many advanced level show jumping competitions. Lady Weingard, a full sister of his dam Weinland, was successfully ridden for many years by Markus Beerbaum and later by Jörne Sprehe. Further information: His sire Lordanos has won many advanced (S) level show jumping classes and is one of the most reliable jumper-makers in Germany today. Nearly 30 licensed sons, including the Vice Bundeschampion 2006 and current Show Jumping Derby winner, Lex Lugar/Carsten-Otto Nagel, speak for him. His dam Weinland was also bred to De Niro which resulted in the Oldenburg Reserve Champion Mare, Die Weingard (2000). Weinland is a full sister of the international show jumper mare Lady Weingard, ridden by Markus Beerbaum as well as Jörne Sprehe, and of the licensed stallions Libertas, Lindenberg and Landkaiser (winner of the 1995 Oldenburg licensing). The dam's sire Landadel was certainly the most outstanding of the many licensed Landgraf sons. Landadel was the sire of three Champion Stallions in Oldenburg: Lagoheidor G, Landkaiser and Laudatio. The granddam Weingard also placed in advanced (S) level classes. The great granddam Goldelse is the dam of Gordon (by Schwalbenflug; medium (M) level show jumper) and Weingard's full siblings by Weinstern, Wrigley (advanced (S) show jumper) and Wembley (medium (M) level show jumper). Through Weinstern, Gotthard and Frustra II, excellent performance components were also added in the further generations of the dam line. Lord Weingard comes from the Hanoverian dam line of Babilla (by Butcher Bird xx) which also produced the licensed stallions Airfunk, Anselm, Jaguar, Mirco (all State Stud Marbach), Alpenstern (USA), Athaman (private stallion Holstein), De Libris and Fioravanti (State Stud Warendorf), Del Cento and Frohnherr (both private stallions Oldenburg), Einstein (AUT), Feingold (private stallion Baden Württemberg, Sachsen), Gastronom and the stallion performance test winner Glander (both State Stud Celle), German (SWE), Lomber (State Stud Redefin), Welfenlöwe (private stallion Hanover), Wolkengold (private stallion Baden Württemberg), Wotan I (BEL) as well as the internationally successful show jumper Grande Giso/H. G. Winkler and J. Heins (Glander's full brother). |
