Linton (Archived)

Linton is a beautiful, impressive and modern-type stallion, an athletic example of a sensational jumping horse. Linton is the epitome of a modern-day show jumper. As a 7 year old, he won a 1.50 m class and in 2007, he received the second highest score of 9.0 in the Bundeschampionat final jump-off, which put him in fourth place overall. He was also a deserving competitor in the Deister Cup final. In 2006, Linton won the final qualifier at the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf with a score of 9.2. Ten wins in 1.20 m classes for novice show jumpers and 14 wins in 1.30 m novice classes speak for themselves. In 2008, he competed in his first 1.50 m class with Bastian Freese, which he won. Linton's sire, Lican, was another successful Bundeschampionat contender before being sold abroad. His pedigree perfectly combines the bloodline of the outstanding performance horse sire Lord and the rideability and type improvement qualities of Calido. Ahorn Z in the third generation provides scope and technique, and dynamic mover Calypso I rounds off the pedigree.

Linton is a descendent of a successful dam line. His granddam, Championess, is full sister to top sire Accord II. As expected, his foals are all high-blooded types with elastic movements. This stallion has a brilliant future ahead of him.
