Kentucky van't Ruytershof is a beautifull young stallion who has been used extensively for breeding due to his outstanding quality, scope, confirmation, intelligence and amazing bloodlines! Kentucky is in training at Euro Horse stables in Belgium. Jos Verlooy now competes this stallion at 1m40 level. Kentucky is an exceptional young stallion about to break into the top international sport.

Actively competing in numerous competitions he has done exceedingly well and is gaining vast amounts of experience. In 2016 ranked #7 in the Jumping/CSIYH1*/Table A, as well as, placings in two other CSIYH1* competitions.  Kentucky truly has much to offer to jumper sport horse breeding.

Throughout 2020, Kentucky competed in jumping horse competitions up to CDI3* with Emma Stoker of Great Brittan and Ivo Biessen of Netherlands.

With a sire like the legendary jumper For Pleasure, and a dam sire like Diamant de Semilly who stems from a long line of French jumper breeding. For Pleasure (Furioso II x Grannus) was voted best progenitor in 2016. Among others Fit For Fun (Luciana Diniz), For Joy from 't Zorgvliet (Kevin Staut), Finou (Aaron Vale), Flora de Mariposa (Penelope Leprevost), Epleaser van' t Heike (Christian Ahlmann), E-Muze YEK ( Simon Nizri) and Barron (Lucy Davis) jumped so well in 2016 that For Pleasure was at the top of the rankings. He himself was also very successful at the highest level with Marcus Ehning. Kentucky Van't Ruytershof is a stallion that guarantees strong capability in the jumping sport and, like his sire, carries on that strength and virtuosity onto the jumping course.

The dam of Kentucky is Diamanthina van't Ruytershof (Diamont de Semilly x Carthago) who was successful at the highest level with Constant van Paesschen. Diamanthina is the full sister of the top stallion Emerald van 't Ruytershof who competed at the highest level of international showjumping before he retired to focus on breeding. Emerald was 2nd in the world cup final in Gothenburg (2016) and was a finalist at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, among other accomplishments.
