Kaiser Franz's good bloodlines don't lie. This old breeder's wisdom was definitely confirmed by this year's spectacular Oldenburg Champion, Kaiser Karl. This Champion Stallion's sire, Kaiser Franz, is a real jewel in breeding: his dam comes from Herbert de Baey's great mare line and is a direct three-quarter sister of the legendary dressage horse, Rembrandt (by Romadour II and one of the most successful dressage horses of all times under Nicole Uphoff) as well as the sires Royal Angelo I and II. The granddam, Adone, was a full sister of Dr. Reiner Klimke's famous Ahlerich and Antine, who produced the world famous dressage sire and trademark stallion, Rubinstein. His sire, Krack C, collected numerous ribbons in international Grand Prix under Anky van Grunsven, was Best Dressage Stallion at the 2005 International Stallion Show in Zwolle and is a very popular sire in the Netherlands. His trademark is producing strong moving licensed stallions and premium mares as well as highly talented dressage horses. Kaiser Franz, an exceedingly good looking stallion, passed his 70 day test in Prussendorf with a dressage index of 123.91 and has meanwhile proved his talent in tests for young dressage horses. |
