Jerke 434 is a sport type Friesian who was champion of his Keuring and the obvious standout stallion of his year. He has excellent conformation with an uphill build and long forelegs. His neck comes out of his shoulders in a very upward manner. Jerke has a lot of presence. He is honest, trustworthy with a good work ethic. His walk is lengthy, with good action and ‘tact’. His trot is ground covering with active knee action. The hind legs are placed very well underneath him. He exhibits lovely, uphill movement with good use of the back. Jerke is a son of Onne, bred from the mare line of Reina van de Wittewijk, who was a Champion of the Central Mare Keuring. This is the family of many well known selection horses and quality sport horses. At his Keuring the judges remarked that Jerke was a horse that stands out because of his impressive presence. He stood out because of his very good use of the front legs, and an easy canter. He received an 8 for the canter, which is very rare. This stallion presents himself in every way as a good riding horse, with a lot of balance. He is a stallion with a modern build and one of the few Friesian stallions that is built uphill, which accounts for his talent as a sport horse. Jerke got 82.5 points for under the saddle and 82.5 for harness and was the best breeding stallion of his year.
