An exciting new stallion in an elegant brown jacket, Jazz Time is a finely etched type with a very correct foundation. In Bavaria, where he has been active so far, Jazz Time sired the 2002 Champion Mare in the class for two year olds, Bonny M. Already placed in medium level dressage, Jazz Time's spectacular movement mechanics in all three basic paces give Lisa Wilcox high expectations for future success. He passed his 100 day stallion performance test in 1999 in Neustadt/Dosse with with very good scores. He received the score of 10 twice, for willingness to perform and constitution, and a 9 for jumping ability, rideability, walk, trot and canter. This means that another breeding and sport stallion with the double traits (jumping and dressage) that Gestuet Vorwerk aims for has been added to their lineup. The sire of Jazz Time, Broere Jazz, an international Grand Prix winner and a member of the Dutch dressage team in Jerez de la Frontera in 2002, ridden by Tineke Bartels, currently leads the KWPN list in regard to predicted breeding value for his year, having sired numerous approved stallions and champion mares in the Netherlands. Grandsire Cocktail was Olympic winner Anky van Grunsven's great hope, winning 80 tests and placing in many others in international dressage.
Jazz Time's dam also produced another approved stallion. Her sire, the DLG Champion stallion, Romadour II, is also Rubinstein's grandsire as well as the sire of the famous Rembrandt. This top pedigree is rounded off by the Thoroughbred stallion, Pasteur, a successful Grand Prix horse who had great influence on the Trakehner breed by the so
ns he left. The bloodlines of Furioso II and Rubinstein will be continued by Jazz Time. In 2003 Jazz Time was sire of the Champion Mare at the State Show in the class for three and four year old Bavarian mares, in 2003. In 2004, his son Just Perfect was the Champion Stallion in Marbach. At the 2004 Weser Ems Championships, Jazz Time was 3rd place at the Nürnberg Burgpokal. All in all, Jazz Time marked up 12 wins in St. Georg und Intermediare I at national and international shows.
