Flambeau was reserve champion in Redefin in 2013. He is a stallion of a modern type with expressive gaits and has a pedigree that combines highly interesting bloodlines for the sport.
Flambeau was chosen by KWPN for the "2013 KWPN Select Sale."  and throughout his 30 day test he recieved positive comments on his conformation and excellent gaits. He proved his rideability through the whole test, and the combination of high and even points for gaits gave him the title for reserve champion. Points for gaits were 7.75 (walk), 8.75 (trot) and 9.0 (canter), and he recieved a total score of 8.39 for dressage.
His pedigree is interesting from several points of view. You find top European stallions in more than one generation and a variety of stallions which results in both excellent movement and jumping ability a great combination found in many top sporthorses today.
Flambeau is by the well-known Ampère, whose offspring have sold for high sums at elite auctions, both in Sweden and other countries.
The grandfather Zeoliet won his test in Ermelo with the scores 9,2 (dressage), 9,0 (jumping under saddle) and 9,5 (free jumping), and has produced a number of Grand Prix horses, both in dressage and in showjumping. Zeoliet has had a high breeding index through the years in both dressage and jumping.
Great grandfather Cocktail combined a successful career in the sport together with Anky van Grunsven who has had a successful career in breeding with a large number of approved sons.
