Farewell III (Archived)

VIDEO
Another great success gets added every year – Farewell III's career in Germany is a triumphant march to upper level dressage! After various placings at Bundeschampionats as a young horse, he finally won the title when he was six and then made a seamless transition to advanced level. In 2009 he took the Weser-Ems Champion title under Markus Gribbe and was the best breeding stallion in the Nürnberg Burg Pokal Final, finishing third. On record meanwhile are 35 placings in advanced (S) level classes and of these there are 11 first places.
His sire Fidermark was one of the most significant sons of the trademark stallion, Florestan. Fidermark, a Bundeschampion trained to Grand Prix, went down in breeding history for his offspring in Rhineland and Westphalia. The same applies to Rosenkavalier and Apart by Angelo xx, two sires found in the dam's pedigree. Farewell's outstanding walk and his outstanding rideability make him a perfect mate for mares whose inner calm and walk could stand some improvement. At the Mecklenburg licensing, a Farewell III colt out of a Londonderry dam was awarded a premium and will be stationed at the State Stud in Redefin. Farewell III – his walk is his capital.
