With bloodlines from champion dressage and jumping horses Estobar NRW is destined for sucess. In 2007, Estobar NRW took his 30-day test in Münster-Handorf which he finished with great scores. He was awarded a "very good" three times for rideability (9.38), his trot (9.06) and character (9.0). He received an 8.94 for his canter, an 8.31 for his walk and a 7.63 for his ability to jump.

After conclusion of the 2009 breeding season, Estobar NRW took his 70-day stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf. He finished the test with a sensational dressage index of 154.74 points which meant first place by a clear margin. After a deduction of nearly 5 points for age he finished with a total index of 119.15. He also won the prestigious Westfalen-Wappen Prize by a wide margin at the Winners' Show in Münster with a score of 8.8.

In 2010 he participated in the National Championships and by age seven he became the winner of advanced level dressage tests.  2012 was an even better year for Estobar as he was successful in the Olympic games under Hubertus Schmidt and in 2014 he placed first in the Grand Prix and attained fifth place in the final of the Louisdor Prize in Frankfurt.  Under Danica Duen Estobar NRW became ranked second in advanced level (S*) dressage competition.

The list of successful offspring of Estobar NRW is long and led by the licensed, double National Champion and Burg Pokal qualifier Escolar, as well as, his full brother Escorial who has also been highly successful at National Championships. Among Estobar's ten licensed sons are the National Champion Equitaris, and the stallion performance test winner Emilio Sanchez. Four of Estobar's daughters have been successfully awarded state premium.  This includes Emily Rose, who completed her broodmare performance test in Muenster-Handorf with the year's best score of 8,79 and participated in the final ring at the Westphalian Elite Broodmare Show and the German Elite Broodmare Championships.
