This champion stallion won the crowd's hearts in 2016 in Vechta.  Erdinger has a great personality and a big-frame. With thunderous applause he trotted with great self-reliance, a lot of tact, and a stunning performance on the lunge.

Erdinger is a true powerhouse and convined by his strength and mechanics in the trot combined with an always uphill, well-oriented gallop.  On the one hand he is relaxed and on the other he has a strong, energetic stride.  During his first tests under saddle, Erdinger confirmed the high expectations of this movement-phenomenal young stallion.

The sire Escolar, who clearly influenced Erdinger, was two times Federal Champion of the stallions at the Bundeschampion in 2012 and 2013 with Hermann Burger. Meanwhile, he is victorious under Hubertus Schmidt until Intermédiaire I. His dam has produced the licensed son Puerto Rico (by Peking), and successful dressage and show jumping horses up to class S: Davy Jones (by Don Laurie I) under Victoria Suppert international until Intermédiaire II is successful or Fernando (by Fürst Piccolo), former finalist at the German Foal Championships in Lienen and currently on the Jump into the heavy class in the square.

In 2019, Erdinger won first place in the qualifier for the Bundeschampionate with a 8.0.

The dam's sire, Contender, is one of the most sought-after and proven sires nationwide.  His descendants have so far earned over 9.3 million euros in all categories. He has placed nearly 130 licensed sons in Germany alone. Great-grandsire Coriander represents the versatility of the Holsteiner horse like no other. Even sucessful in the Grand Prix, he had outstanding jumping ability and is considered a valued sire of the very best Holsteiner virtues. The thoroughbred Marlon xx is the fourth member of the ancestral bloodline and shows maximum rideability and a versatile predisposition.

From the Holsteiner strain 2067 53 licensed stallions were born, among others Calwahn, Canturano I and II, Carthano, Con Caletto (USA), whose internationally successful full brother Con Spirito (SUI), Corvalon, Gondoso (internationally successful with Hugo Simon / AUT), Tramps (internationally successful with Toni Hassmann), Lord Logger, his full brothers Lordon I and II, Masetto, Rando, Solid Silver (USA), Sympathico and Umulus SW (NED) and the internationally successful showjumpers Cattani (by Corrado I) Geir Gulliksen (NOR), Lausbub (by Landmeister) with Franke Sloothaak, Leonidas 40 (by Lincoln) with Lars Nieberg, Leonardo (by Landmeister) with Franke Sloothaak, Lordon 3 (by Lord) Luciana Diniz (BRA) and Top Secret (by Tin Rocco) with Karina Johannpeter (BRA).
