Don Tango was the highest scoring dressage stallion at the 2011 KWPN Stallion Performance Test in Stegeren, The Netherlands. He scored; Walk 8.0, Trot 8.5, Canter 8.0, Suppleness 8.0, and 9’s for Balance and Self Carriage, Temperament, and Rideability resulting in a total score of 83.5.
Don Tango B stems from world class lines. He was sired by Contango, sire of the international superstar, Ravel, ridden by Steffen Peters for the US. Don Tango B’s dam, Oronia, earned her Keur Sport Dressage title and stems from an excellent line herself. She is sired by Jazz who has produced numerous international dressage champions such as Parzival ridden by Adelinde Cornelissen, and her damsire, Ulft, produced the legendary international Grand Prix stallion, Olympic Ferro, ridden by Coby van Baalen.
