The powerful and impressive Don Juan - "Hanoverian Stallion of the Year" in 1997 - is an excellent producer of outstanding jumping horses. His offspring stand out for courage and enormous jumping ability. His progeny have earned more than 1.5 million Deutschmarks in competitions. One of his very successful offspring is Dulf. With his rider Leslie McNaught he was part of the Swiss team that won the silver medal at the European Show Jumping Championships in Hickstead 1999. Don Juan is also well known for improving the gaits in jumping horses. Don Juan passed away in the summer of 1999, but frozen semen of this outstanding stallion is still available. |
