Dollar King--a Selle Francais stallion with an English name--and great prospects for the future! His sire, Dollar de la Pierre (alias Tlaloc La Silla) is by Quidam de Revel, the stallion with the most off-spring in the jumping competitions at the 2006 World Equestrian Games in Aachen. Dollar de la Pierre reached the final at the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000 for Mexico and in 2002, under the French rider Reynald Angot, became team World Champion in Jerez. In the following year he became Vice European Champion with his team. There were also numerous first places in international competitions, including the Grand Prix of Hickstead, La Baule and Paris. He represents the best of what the lines in French jumper breeding have produced. Almé (through Quidam de Revel) and Nakin, complemented by the Thoroughbred Rantzau in the third generation, the sire of the legendary Cor de la Bryère. His dam competed in international sport under Gilles Bertrand de Ballanda. Dollar King's dam, Facetie de Gruchy, a half-Thoroughbred mare, is by the Thoroughbred, King's Road, who goes directly back to Precipitation, the grandsire of the legendary Furioso II.
