Show jumping Premium stallion of the 2013 Hanoverian licensing
Standing in a large frame, he combines great scope with a powerful hind leg, the best leg technique and bascule with subtle, elastic body movement. His uphill canter with great length of stride deserves a special mention. In 2014, Diatendro successfully completed the 70-day test in Schlieckau in a field of strong competition, and as expected, he was amongst the best of the show jumpers.
His sire, Diarado, is now consistently successful at advanced level /S level***. He is currently one of the most sought after show jumping producers and with 161 index points in the FN show jumping breeding value index list, he belongs to the top group. In 2007, he was celebrated as the Holstein licensing champion stallion and the champion of his stallion performance test. In 2010, he won numerous jumper classes and the Bronze Medal at the Bundeschampionship of the five year old show jumpers.
Diatendro's dam, Cobina, completed her mare performance test with an excellent mark of 9,25 for show jumping. She is a daughter of the influential Holstein premium sire and stallion performance test winner, Contendro I. More than 60 of his sons have been licensed, among them Captain Fire, champion of the 2006 Bundeschampionship of the five year old show jumpers, the champion stallion of the 2004 OS-licensing and stallion performance test reserve champion, Charming Boy, as well as the price peaks at the Verden auction, Carlucci and Codex One. Codex One is internationally successful with Christian Ahlmann.
Diatendro's grand dam, Galena, bred to Stakkato, produced the licensed son Sicerto who was successful in show jumping up to advanced level/S level with Rolf Moormann. Sicerto´s full sister Scala is the dam of the international show jumping mare, Acorte (by Acorado I) who has so far won more than 160,000 Euro in international show jumping.
Close family connections exist with Diathago and Pilothago (both LH Ldg. / stud Warendorf). The black coated Grannus, in the third generation, was successful at advanced level/S level show jumping and is one of the greatest producers for international show jumping sports of all time. Progeny of this great sire have been a part of many National Teams of numerous countries. With Akzent II and Goldstern we have very respected, undisputed sires in the fourth and fifth generation of this Hanoverian dam line, which is based on the family 484 of Flügelschuld (by Flügelmann I-Schwabenkönig I etc.), which has also produced the sires, Dragoner (Warendorf), Junker (Schwaiganger) and Laupin (Redefin).
