A modern dressage stallion with top scores in his 30 day test
This stallion is an impressive looking fellow with obvious Trakehner refinement and the typical excellent movement of the Donnerhall line. At his 30 day test in Neustadt/Dosse in 2010, De Champ was awarded the excellent scores of 9.0 for walk, 9.0 for trot and 9.5 for rideability. He completed the test with a top overall dressage-oriented score of 8.93 before embarking on a very successful first competition season which brought him wins and high places in conformation classes and novice dressage horse classes. De Champ is an elegant, long-legged stallion with three excellent paces.
His sire, Daddy Cool, was Oldenburg Regional Champion in 2006, qualified for the Bundeschampionat in 2007 and is now at Isabell Werth's yard being prepared for more advanced dressage competitions. Daddy Cool's sire, Don Davidoff, was a resplendent Bundeschampion and World Champion of Young Dressage Horses. One of his offspring, Don Auriello, has already won six advanced level dressage classes. Maternal grandsire Caprimond has proven excellent breeding qualities and he has founded his own stallion dynasty via Hohenstein and Münchhausen. A 15-times advanced dressage class winner, he was still competing in Grand Prix classes at the age of 19 and now has elite stallion status.
His progeny have already earned a total of over 300,000 Euro in competition winnings. Argentan, three generations removed, produced international-calibre stallion Argentinus. De Champ is descended from the Hofmagd bloodline, which has also produced approved stallions Provider, First Pleasure, Airport, Flennegen, Wettiner, Williams Boy and advanced show jumping stallion, Cashman. De Champ is an elegant and noble stallion with an athletic build.
