D'avie passes on his good looks and his outstanding movement cadence to his offspring. The beautiful form and movement of D'avie clearly outshown the other premium stallions at his 2014 Hanoverian licensing in Verden.
He made his debut in sport with superior victories during testing for young riding and dressage horses. In 2016 he passed his 14 day test in Schlieckau and finished as the 2nd Reserve Champion and with a final score of 8.41 and an emphasis on dressage. His character and his canter were perceived by the judges as very good (9.0) and they gave him 8.75 for his interior values and rideability, and an 8.5 for his willingness to perform and his walk.
In 2018, D'avie won the WBFSH Breeding Dressage Championships for Young 6-year-old horses, as well as, the initial test for the Pavo & DRF's Stallion Championships for 7-year-olds in Ermelo.
D'avie is from the first crop of Don Juan de Hus, himself a product of the successful sire Jazz, crossed with Krack C. Don Juan de Hus took his stallion performance test in Schlieckau in 2011 which he finished with outstanding scores: 10.0 for rideability and 9.5 for his trot and canter. He took sixth place under Jessica Michel/FRA at the World Championships for young dressage horses in 2013. Meanwhile eleven of Don Juan de Hus sons have been licensed in Germany including the Westphalian victory stallion and price record D'Egalité and the winner of the National Championships, Don Martillo.
His dam St.Pr.St. Linda is a full sister of St.Pr.A. Lady Gagga who collects ribbons in dressage up to Inter I. The benefits of the line founding stallion, Lauries Crusador xx, are reaped through the dam's sire Londonderry. The performance line of Delicta has produced many top sport horses.
