Darc Rouge had many admirers at the 2006 Springpferdezuchtverband Oldenburg-International approval because he's an athlete from top to bottom, with excellent reflexes at the jump, unlimited ability and the best technique. His sire, Darco, is an international trademark stallion who took sixth place at the World Equestrian Games in Stockholm in 1990 and seventh in the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992. He presently stands on second place in the world ranking list for breeding stallions with emphasis on jumping. His off-spring are found in the stables of top riders all over the world. Two Darco off-spring were among the top ten individually at the 2006 World Equestrian Games in Aachen: Parco/Ludo Phillipaerts (BEL, ninth place) and team silver medal winner Sapphire/McLain Ward (USA, seventh place). Darc Rouge's dam's sire, Papillon Rouge, is no less popular and is one of the best Selle Francais stallions of modern day. With Fleche Rouge/Leopold van Asten (NED) and Mozart des Hayettes/Michael Whitaker (GBR), two of his off-spring are feared competitors at the shows they enter. Darc Rouge's granddam is inbred through Landgraf and Lord over the legendary Thoroughbred stallion, Ladykiller. Her family, line 2978, also produced the stallions Langenhagen and Rhadames. Darc Rouge – sport ability is what counts! |
