Danny Wilde

Danny Wilde, a Rheinlander with exquisite exterior lines and pronounced type, was reserve champion at the 1998 NRW main approval and dressage star at the 2000 CHIO Sales in Aachen. Series winner in riding horse tests and successful participant in the 1999 Bundeschampionat, his outstanding rideability, excellent basic paces, good character, temperament and willingness to perform were rewarded with top scores (dressage index 133.68 points/2nd place) at his performance test in Neustadt/Dosse. In 2001, Danny Wilde won a series of elementary level dressage tests, was a successful participant in the Bundeschampionat as well as the World Championships for dressage horses. His foals are very convincing, strong in type with generous movements. Danny Wilde produces only dark horses. His pedigree unites the very best in German riding horse breeding in every generation. The genes of the great grandsire, Donnerhall, have left permanent accents. Sire, Donnerwind, is a multiple advanced level winner. The grandsire, Donnerschlag, was successful in Grand Prix and is now active in the USA. The dam, SPS Melodia, was highly successful in riding horse tests. Bred to Rubinstein, she produced the approved black stallion, Ravello. His dam's sire and DLG prize-winning, Mephistopheles, is extremely popular today. Great grandsire, Burnus, a participant in the Olympic Games of his day in eventing with Dr. Reiner Klimke, was one of the top stallions for passing on a willingness to perform and the right type. In 2003 Danny Wilde was highly placed in medium and St. Georg dressage tests. In 2004 Danny Wilde won and placed in numerous St. Georg and Intermediare I tests. His first off-spring are now of age and are successful in sport. Danny Wilde passes on only bay and brown colors.
