Colorit possesses excellent canter work and a calculating style with respect to his excellent bascule, first class technique, and sheer borderless ability over the jump. With a final score of 9.2, he was the absolute master of his profession at the 2006 30 Day Performance test in Prussendorf. He then completed his 70 Day test in the top performance class! After victories at M Level in 2009, he debuted in S Level under rider Franz-Josef Dahlmann at the start of 2010. His sire, Coriano, was successful at the highest levels in jumping himself. Colorit’s damsire, Capitol I, has produced an entire generation of jumping horses in Holstein. The combination of Capitol I-Sacramento Song xx-Wahnfried in Colorit’s damline is an example of the exceptional spectrum of the Holsteiner breeding: Each generation presents a new top sire who in each case brings international jumpers more frequently to light. Colorit represents, like the Prussendorfer state sire, Levinus, the Holsteiner Stamm 741 which has produced the well known stallion Adeptus and closely related successful horses, Capitalist, Cardento (internationally successful with Peter Eriksson of Sweden), Carillion (NL), Quintender, Quinto de B, and Randi (internationally successful with John Whitaker). Especially exciting is the breeding success of Colorit. Out of both of the last two foal years, many type full, charming youngsters with huge canters were discovered. The Landgestüt has assured an aspiring stallion with him! |
