Codex One is an oustanding stallion in the successful line of Contendro I, one of the most influencial sires in the Hanoverian breed. Codex One was the top selling horse at the 2004 Hanoverian Spring Elite Auction, and soon after he was the 2007 Hanoverian State Champion and placed in the finals of both the 2007 and 2008 Bundeschampionate in Warendorf. In December, 2010, Codex One took the international jumper scene by storm placing second under Karl Brocks at the CSI4* Indoor Grossen Preis von Frankfurt a.M. Soon after, Codex One moved to the stables of German Olympic rider Christian Ahlmann who had great success with the stallion. The pair placed 2nd in the Grossen Preis von Nörten-Hardenberg CSI3* and then won the Masters League Final at the 2011 CSI4* Grossen Preis von Frankfurt a.M. In 2012, the pair were 3rd in the St. Gallen CSI05*, and then put in two clear rounds at the CHIO Aachen Nations Cup which solidified their place on the 2012 German Olympic Team. |
