Casallato (Archived)

Casallato is an impressive, large-framed stallion who hold many classic Holsteiner qualities.  He has a clear performance type, with an energetic and highly active trot, plenty of scope, and top notch manner.  Casallato was named premium stallion of the Holsteiner licensing in 2016.

His sire, Casall was a long time competitor in international show jumping arenas and represented Sweden at the Olympics and World and European Championships.  Casall won over 2 million euros in Grand Prix and show jumping World Cups and currently ranks fourth in the WBFSH world ranking of the best show jumping sires.  To date, he has sired over 60 licensed stallions over 16 successful horses in S level show jumping.

The dam sire, Calato, is considered to be one of the best sons of the influential Holsteiner bred Capitol I.  He went to the German show jumping championships and was successfully ridden up to the advanced level.  The thoroughbred Tumbled xx and the outstanding Holsteiner performers Rigoletto and Consul round of his pedigree perfectly.  Casallato represents to well-known and highly effective Holsteiner line 5401 which produced numerous successful stallions.
