The Star of the 2007 Hanoverian Elite Auction in Verden.

Now matured, Carlucci has the build of an athletic, modern sire, and he is a real eye catchter with his dark coat, three good gaits and unbelievably good rideability. After successfully starting his career in Hesse, he changed hands at the Hanoverian Spring Auction in 2007 for a price that broke all records at the auctions in Verden and is now at Gestüt Sprehe where he successfully continues his career.

Carlucci completed the Stallion Performance Test in Adelheidsdorf. His canter and conformation stood out, and his great talent for jumping, on the course as well as on cross country, was rewarded with top scores. As a four-year old he won and placed in novice (A) and elementary (L) level tests for young show jumpers. In 2008, after winning many elementary (L) and medium (M) level classes for young show jumpers, he was a finalist in the Bundeschampionate in the class for six-year old show jumpers. He made his breakthrough to advanced level with Tanja Sprehe. As of 2009, ribbons in medium (M) and advanced (S) level show jumping tests, also in international competitions, were added to Carlucci's record.

The type and sporty look of his first crops are convincing. Many of them received a Premium award, and because of their great talent for jumping, they are highly interesting prospects. The eldest are now successful in the shows, and in 2011, his first son was licensed in Zweibrücken.

Carlucci's sire, Contendro I, earned the status of a trademark stallion very early. More than 50 licensed sons are on record for this stallion performance test winner, including the Oldenburg-International (OS) Champion Stallion and performance test Reserve Champion, Charming Boy, the stallion performance test Reserve Champion Condiro, Bundeschampion Captain Fire and the top auction horses Codex One and Carlucci. In 2005, his daughter Con Pleasure became the OS Champion Mare in Vechta.

Carlucci's damsire, Glücksstern, was the Champion Stallion of the 1983 licensing in Verden, and produced outstanding material for breeding and sport in the only three years he bred. Offspring such as the licensing winner Glücksgriff, the licensed stallions Glückspilz, Glückstaler I and II, Glückstag and Glücksfall. The Thoroughbred Jet Stream xx, found in Carlucci's third generation, sired outstanding event horses and also licensed sons such as Jaccar (AUT), Jet Run, Jet Set and Jongleur. Through Davos, Valentino xx and Winkel, the next generations on Carlucci's dam's side lead to line 380/Feintri (by Feinschnitt II-Neidhardt-Nebo-Defilant-Junior-Fingal I-Schegolew-Casio), which produced, among others, the stallions Balaton (private stallion Hanover), Cristal du Coeur, Drossan (private stallion Old., Sachs.), Galoubet van de Helle (private stallion Belgium), Highlight (USA), Paso Primo (private stallion Westphalia), Polypur (private stallion Rhineland), Sunyboy (PB Brandenburg) and Wendenburg (State Stud Celle).
