Bonaventura (Archived)

VIDEO (Landgestuet Celle Site)
Bonaventura's performances constantly improved during his stallion performance test. And this is no surprise when looking at his dominant dam line. The Grannus daughter, state premium mare Grandessa, completed an excellent mare performance test, and she has supplied various offspring that are successfully competing at advanced show jumping level. Glücksstern and Argentan can be found further down on dam’s side of the pedigree, and sire Balou du Rouet, one of the new stars in the show jumping breed, promises high performances and jumper ability. Bonaventura descends from the foundation stock of Weise, one of the oldest Hanoverian lines in the Stade area that can be traced back until 1879. A couple of licensed stallions originate in this line like Flügel, Echo I and II or Gralshüter with his trademark, the greying mane. He successfully competed at international level under Heinrich-Wilhelm Johannsmann.
