Balzaci (Archived)

Under the sport name Horse Gym's Balzaci, this stallion has been competing in the world class, international circuit for many years with rider Felix Hassmann. Groundbreaking achievements such as the Global Champions Tour victory in Monte Carlo in 2018, the bronze medal in the Riders Tour, as well as, victories in the Grand Prix of Munich in 2017, the Global Champions Tour in Berlin in 2017, and a second place in the STAWAK Prize of the CHIO in Aachen characterize the career of this duo. The two hold an impressive record of 23 international wins, several victories and placements at CSI5 * level (1.60 m), Nations Cup gold and a total of 179 finishes in the heavy class so far.

With over half a million euros in prize money, the fast-moving Balzaci has had countless great success including a victory at the CSI3 * in Neumünster and a second place to qualify for the Longines World Cup at the CSI5 * in Leipzig. Balzaci had nine consistently extremely successful years from the international top sports and in 2019 started on his breeding career as well. This beautiful stallion has a lot of spirit and charm and now has the chance to pass on his top genes.

With his extensive performance history, family Hassmann who acquired the stallion as a foal clearly focused him in top sport. Therefore, Balzaci had sired only ten offpring by 2019, but who have had over 60,000 euros in total profit internationally. Barolo / Felix Haßmann is internationally successful in 1.55 m-jumping, Blue Moon / David Jennings (USA) is successful in 1.50 m-jumping, Bandolero / Angelique Rüsen celebrates international success in 1.45 m-jumping, Bachus / Felix Haßmann is victorious in S * jumping and Balzaci's youngest son from a Lordanos dam was recently licensed at the Westphalian licensing and auctioned for 47,000 euros.

Balzaci himself is characterized in particular by his fighting spirit, an outstanding rideability and intellect in the course. He has a natural carefullness and the absolute will to win. 

Sire Balou du Rouet has maintained a spot on the WBFSH Show Jumping Sire Ranking for many years. He is the most successful son of the famous Baloubet du Rouet, who as an Olympic champion and three-time World Cup winner under Rodrigo Pessoa, and himself considered one of the most successful horses of all time. 

The dam's sire is the blood-stamped KWPN-stallion Ex Libris, who has produced top horses for both dressage and show jumping. In the third generation Balzaci has the performance blood of Pandur v. Praefectus xx, who celebrated international victories under the saddle of Heinrich-Wilhelm Johannsmann.
