Delgado |
The extremely handsome horse, Delgado, true to his origins, is a noble stallion. Being a son of the
Grand Prix champion, De Niro, the initial course of his career has been
set for dressage. These ambitions are backed up by Feinbrand, the sire
of Delgado's dam (the state premium and elite mare Fabienne) who, following
his splendid debut as vice-champion of the 1990 Oldenburg approval,
became state vice-champion, third in the Federal Championship in Verden
and runner up of the stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf. In 1992
and 1993, Feinbrand moreover became state champion dressage horse and is
meanwhile successful in the advanced class. The anticipated transmission
of type is underscored by inbreeding to Absatz (Admiral) on the one
hand, and by Delgado's dam line on the other, which seems to have
transmitted good looks via the Thoroughbred Tremezzo xx and the Arabian
Sunil. The vice-champion Aramis AA by Cashew xx is out of Gazelle, who
is also the full-sister of the stallion performance test winner Solo by
Sunil. |
