Corlando |
A Hoststeiner in splendid
form--first class in line, elegance and type. Corlando possesses
dynamic, effective movement and demonstrated exceptional class in his
first jumping tests. He achieved performance class one at his stallion
performance test at Adelheidsdorf in 1998. Though his pedigree is
heavily weighted toward jumping, he also has a high blood reservoir for
dressage capability. His grand dam Tabelle, is a full suster to Salmei,
the dam of Olympic winner and World Champion, Granat. Grandsire Rinaldo
influenced the appearance of Corlando to a high degree and also in
dressage points. Rinaldo produced the 1987 Dressage Derby winner,
"Robby." Corlando's ancestors have contributed the full array
of genes for success in both disciplines. His is a two-time winner at
the Federal Championship and in jumping to class "S." Since
1994 his offspring are regularly successful at Federal Championships in
jumping and dressage. At the Vechta Special, a Corlando offspring out of
an Inschallah mare tied for first place.
