Cellestial |
Cellestial is
performance personified. He is an
athlete through and through, combining elasticity in his basic paces
with a maximum of jumping qualities in regard to ideal technique,
bascule and unlimited ability. He has achieved the requirements for
approval on the basis of his success in sport. At the ages of four
to six, he was a series winner in novice to medium level tests,
often with a score of 9.0 or more. As a five year old he was the
most successful jumper in Germany in his age group. In 1999 and 2000
he placed in the Bundeschampionat finals for German jumpers in
Warendorf, where he was a feared competitor. At the age of just
seven, he easily fulfilled the requirements for approval: five first
to third places in advanced level jumping. He has often been
up-front in international shows. He placed with the best at the
"Sires of the World" three-star advanced level show in Lanaken,
Belgium with his trainer, Heiko Schmidt. Cellestial's sire, Cantus,
was a top-notch jumper-maker during his short life. The dam's sire,
the Thoroughbred stallion, Wendesi, was one of the most significant
Thoroughbreds in North Rhine Westphalia and was a DLG Champion. The
dam's pedigree has Hanoverian origins through Dilettant and Wulf,
the latter of which sired jumpers with enormous talent. You still
find him today in the pedigrees of first class
jumpers.
