Aquilino |
Aquilino was the charming champion
of his stallion test at Zweibrücken. He was the undisputed winner of
the jumping test, and exemplifies the double talent for dressage and
jumping of his sire, Argentinus. In 2000 Aquilino was successful to
levels M/A, and won all four dressage competitions he was ridden in. In
2002 he competed in six "M" dressage competitions, and was
victorious in all six. His first foal crop was impressive, and his
offspring are of noble type, very convincing in their movements at all
gaits and wearing the golden brown jacket of their sire. They have been
sought after at foal auctions throughout Europe and have won many gold
medals and championships. Aquilino is prepotent for type, as was his
sire Argentinus, winner of many "S" jumping championships and
sire of the highest caliber. Aquilino's dam, SPS Journess, is an
elite mare daughter of the millionaire jumper Zeus. Bucephalos xx, in
the third generation, was a Thoroughbred sire of good dressage horses,
and this dam line has also produced Wanderfalk, Fredo and Weltweit. |
