Lord Lennox is a beautifully-formed and powerful gray Holstein stallion by the outstanding sire, Lord. Lord Lennox emphasizes the concept of performance in Gestüt Famos' breeding philosophy. In his case, his own success in sport was the prerequisite for breeding and this began in Switzerland with Andreas Ott. The pair entered numerous European events, taking ribbons in Grand Prix and World Cups, e.g. in Ikast/Denmark, Cervia and Modena/Italy, Falsterbo/Sweden, Madrid/Spain and Lisbon/Portugal and Alexandria/ Egypt. Lord Lennox was one of the highest winning horses in Switzerland and his success continued after his transition to Germany. Lord Lennox started breeding for the first time in Switzerland in the year 2000. The sporty look and high degree of elasticity he passed on to his foals found sound approval. In 2004, his first son, Loxy de la Réselle, was licensed. His sire, Lord, is a legendary Holsteiner stallion who sired countless top sport horses. The dam, Vira, is a full sister of Funky Town, a celebrated international jumper with Gilbert Böckmann, Andreas Ripke, Thomas Frühmann and finally Hugo Simon. Vira is a daughter of the gray stallion, Fantus, a show jumper who competed at the highest level. Fantus produces strong, performance-willing jumpers and was a very popular private stallion in Holstein. In the third generation, Lorenz, another powerful son by the Thoroughbred stallion, Ladykiller xx, enters the pedigree and a second dose of refined bloodlines is added by Koran, a son of the Thoroughbred stallion, Korenbleem xx. Holstein line 7020 also produced the sires Bugatti Classique, Camparis, Cattaro, Chablis, Concord, El Bundy and the multiple champion and advanced level series winner, Lucky Luke.
