Sir Donnerhall I always sets unique records with his heredity. In addition to Special Diva OLD (2014) and Smirnoff (2016), their full siblings Cindy OLD (2013), Sir Heinrich (2014), Candy OLD (2017), Caty OLD (2018) and Casey OLD (2020) have all won gold medals at the German Championships. Candy OLD and Casey OLD were also Oldenburg Champion Mares and thus lead the crowd of over 369 award-winning daughters of Sir Donnerhall I. Candy OLD also won the bronze medal at the World Championships for young dressage horses (5 yo). Sa Coeur became double World Champion, price highlight of the P.S.I. Auction, with a knockdown price of 2.31 million Euros and has been placed in international Grand Prix competitions.

The prize money of Sir Donnerhall I's offspring who are successful in Grand Prix, including Sai Baba Plus/Boaventure Freire/POR, Semper Fidelis/Heather Blitz/USA, Sir Heinrich M, Sir Deauville, Sunshine Tour, Syriana/Mary Hanna/AUS, Sir Fashion/Anna von Wendt/FIN, has long been in the seven-figure range and has earned him a place amongst the top 15 of the world's best dressage sires according to the WBFSH ranking. Sir Hohenstein/Bianca Nowag won team gold and individual silver in the Freestyle of the U25 Grand Prix European Championships in Melegnano/ITA. Sir Donnerhall I has definitely stepped out of the shadow of his incredible sire Sandro Hit.

He has produced 101 licensed stallions, including numerous champion and premium stallions as well as Sir Olli, bronze medalist at the World Championships for young dressage horses.

Many of Sir Donnerhall I's daughters have produced stallions, as can be seen in the Champion Stallions Bonds, Feinrich and For Romance I OLD, the premium stallion For Romance II, the Westphalian Champion Fürst Magic, the Vice German Champion and advanced (S) level serial winner Lilliano OLD/Dorothee Schneider, the German Champion Revenant. One of his daughters also produced the Oldenburg Champion Mare, German Champion and P.S.I. price highlight Fasine OLD. At the German Foal Championships in 2019, Sir Donnerhall I produced another exceptional foal, the second placed filly.

For years Sir Donnerhall I was one of the most successful sires of auction horses and continuous producer of top horses achieving 6 digit prices. His progeny impress again and again with their great style, a modern type and subtle movements. The FN breeding value association ranks Sir Donnerhall I, who has himself been trained up to Grand Prix, as one of the best sires of dressage horses.

Sir Donnerhall (dam by Donnerhall), the national dressage champion and vice world champion of 2006, was rated highest with a value of 172.  He too has successful descendants, a total of 1,067 dressage stars, including 210 with victories and placements at the S-level.  Fifty five reached the Grand Prix level, eleven are successful at the demanding S****-level, and one successfully competes at the top international S*****-level.

He was second reserve champion at his licensing, stallion performance test winner, Ia main premium sire in 2005 and in 2006 Bundeschampion as well as vice World Champion of five year old dressage horses. He quickly turned out to be a foundation stallion: he has sired 89 licensed sons so far, among them the NRW champion stallion and vice Bundeschampion Silbermond, the champion stallions of the South German licensing Sir Nymphenburg I and Sir Schiwago as well as numerous premium sires at all German licensing locations. The premium sire Santo Dottore was Reitpferde Champion of the three year old Oldenburg stallions in 2014. More than 80 daughters were awarded the predicate ´state premium'. The daughter Assandra was honored as best three year old mare in Austria in 2011.
