"Bon Coeur is a spectacular stallion with brilliant gaits. A rideability that makes it easy for the rider to do the job." ~Carl Hester

Bon Coeur's daughter Boa Vista FRH was champion of the six year old Hannoveraner Dressage Horse Championship, 2023.

Bon Coeur was premium stallion at his 2014 licensing, Vice-Bundeschampion of the three-year-old stallions in Warendorf, and became winner of his 30-day test in Schlieckau!  During the 30-day test he was rewarded with the maximum 10.0 points several times. Bon Coeur has achieved a score of 9.0 points multiple times for rideability during qualifiers to the Bundeshampionat. He was also champion in Hanover 2016, and was both as a 3-year and 4-year-old Reserve-Bundeschampion in Warendorf. Bon Coeur is a modern sports horse, with three excellent gaits, fantastic mechanics, and superb rideability. He was awarded the Weltmeyer Prize 2017 from the Hanoverian Association for his magnificent year in the sport. Bon Coeur easily surpassed expectations and it became clear at the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf how enormously powerful, and at the same time light-footed, this young stallion is. He possesses excellent tact and almost unlimited elasticity.

This stallion has top rideability, combined with the fascinating movement mechanics in all, three basic gaits, that make him the epitome of the modern sport horse. In 2017, Bon Coeur was awarded the Weltmeyer-Prize from the Hanoverian Verband for his impressive year in sport. Bon Coeur was the best represented sire at the 2018 Hanoverian Stallion Licensing in Verden with eight sons selected.

Bon Coeur competed for the first time in Sweden in September 2018 with outstanding results. Securing 93% in his 6-year-old test, with a full 10 points for future potential. He then went on to win his second competion at Advanced Medium level with an impressive 73,2 %. In 2019 he continued his superb track record making a strong start to the 2019 competition season by winning the 7-year class with 80,3%, then going on to even win his second start of the year and securing an early qualification to Falsterbo Horse Show.

Bon Couer with Caroline Darcourt in the saddle had a very successful 7-year season resulting in their selection to the Young Horse World Championships and first reserve place in the German team. Success has continued into the 2020 season, in the international arena where Bon Coeur and rider Caroline Darcourt (SE) placed 2nd in the 2020 CDI* PSG and also secured two victories in the Inter I in the Adequan Dressage Festival in Wellington, FL.

The apple doesn't fall to far from the tree in the case of Bon Coeur's son, Bon Courage, who was also named Vice-Bundeschampion at the 2019 Bundeschampionship in Warendorf as a three-year-old. The same year, his son Bellany was proclaimed winner of the Oldenburg Stallion Licensing in Vechta.

His sire, Benetton Dream, qualified for the Bundeschampionat at five, six, seven years of age, and was successful as an eight year-old participating in the Nürnberger Burgpokals. In the meantime, he has won several Grand Prix victories and changed hands to Tinne Vilhelmson Silvfén in Sweden in 2013, where he currently belongs to an elite group of sires with a breeding value of 153 points. In this pedigree, Sandro Hit is the damsire, with his sporting performance (the Bundeschampion and the world champion of the six-year-old dressage horses) and his first-rate sire performance (numerous national championships, world champion championships and Grand Prix). In the third generation, we find old-established Hanoverian performance blood of Carismo (formerly the test winner) by Calypso II, who has numerous internationally victorious offspring. Especially in combination with Sandro Hit, Calypso II has consistently delivered highly successful dressage horses.

Bon Coeur is the result of this with remarkable strength in the back and the always active hind leg from the connection to these valuable jumping genes.
